ROBOTICS HOLIDAY PROGRAM

29 June – 10 July 2026

Longbeach Mall will be hosting a Robotics Club Holiday program from 29th June to 10 July 2026. 

Explorers will build STARWALKER, a real, walking robot powered by pure mechanics and curiosity. It walks, scuttles, and explores using an ingenious 8-legged Klann linkage mechanism—the same type of advanced engineering used in real planetary rovers, but simplified so anyone can build it.
A satisfying, multi-hour build that teaches patience, spatial awareness, and mechanical reasoning.

Sessions are 2 hours long and suitable for kids from 7 to 107 years old
Monday to Friday: 9.30am – 11.30am or 12.30pm – 14.30pm
Saturday: 10am -12pm
COST: R100  
CAPACITY: 5 per session

The STARWALKER kit is for sale.  If you purchase one beforehand you get a free workshop to put it together and then you get to take it home with you.
